Alliance Chat

Once a player has joined an Alliance, they will gain access to a new In-Game Chat tab, a Leaderboard, and their Ranking within the Alliance.

The new Chat Channel is an Alliance-only chat so all players can speak with, and view any, messages from other Alliance members in-game!

To unlock the Alliance chat you must reach Officer Rank of Centurion V or higher.

If you change Alliances, you will no longer be able to view their previous Alliance chat, and will instead gain access to their new Alliance’s chat!

Leaderboard & Ranks

The Leaderboard allows Alliance Members to see who the top performers of their Alliance from week to week.

Rankings are a system inside Alliances where players can advance by earning VP (Victory Points) during a PvP season, and Alliance Loyalty.

Alliance Loyalty is the number of days a player stays within the same Alliance. Both are needed to reach different Officer Ranks, so the more VP and Loyalty you have the higher your Officer Rank can go!

These Alliance Ranks also grant perks that give extra rewards to a player each day as a part of daily login. A player must login to receive them as they do not accumulate.

Reaching Rank Legionary VIII will also reward you with bonus Gold Marks in Regions that a Citadel War took place the day before. For more information, click here!

Having a high enough Alliance Loyalty will also allow a player to vote on future Citadel Restrictions. More information on these restrictions and voting can be found here!

As part of an Alliance, players fight for control over Citadels. Owning Citadels gives players in the controlling Alliance a chance to earn extra rewards. If an Alliance doesn’t own any Citadels, they will gain a Buff that applies to all battle types found in PvP.

  • If an Alliance owns 0 Citadels they will be granted a large buff.
  • If an Alliance owns 1 Citadel they will receive a small buff.
  • If an Alliance owns 2 or more Citadels they will receive no extra buff.

Changing Alliances

It’s important to know that if a player chooses to change Alliances as they play, they will do so at a cost.

Changing Alliances will cost a player 25% of their total Victory Points earned for the season so far, and result in a player's Loyalty resetting to 0.

This means a player's Alliance Rank will be recalculated and become lower than it was in their previous Alliance.

The only other time a player's Alliance Rank is lost is when a PvP Season comes to an end.
