How to take a screenshot or photo.

If you experience a bug or technical issue in Puzzle Quest 3 it can help the support team resolve your problem if you share a screenshot. This can be attached in the My Activities section of the help center in your email software using the attachments icon.

 

Android

In order to take a screenshot on your Android device, press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons at the same time. You'll see an animation on the screen, indicating that the screen photo was saved.

Once you've saved a screenshot:

  1. Open your support request and click on "Attach File"
  2. Select the screenshot

To capture a screen recording on your Android device

  1. Swipe down twice from the top of your screen.
  2. Tap Screen record .
    • You might need to swipe right to find it.
    • If it's not there, tap Edit and drag Screen record  to your Quick Settings.
  3. Choose what you want to record and tap Start. The recording begins after the countdown.
  4. To stop recording, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Screen recorder notification .

iOS

In order to take a screenshot on your iOS device, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top or side of your device. Immediately press and release the Home button.
To find your screenshot, go to the Photos app > Albums and tap Camera Roll.

Once you've saved a screenshot:

  1. Open your support request and click on "Attach File"
  2. Select the screenshot

To capture a screen recording on your iPhone.

  1. Go to Settings  > Control Centre, then tap the Insert Screen Recording button next to Screen Recording.

  2. Open Control Centre, tap the Screen Recording button, then wait for the three-second countdown.

  3. To stop recording, open Control Centre, tap the red record button the Selected Screen Recording button or the red status bar at the top of the screen, then tap Stop.

Go to Photos then select your screen recording.

 

PC

There are a couple of options for taking screenshots on a PC.

  • Pressing CTRL+ALT+PRNT SCRN will take a screenshot and save it to your clipboard. You can directly paste this into your ticket - CRTL+V or right click within your ticket and select PASTE
  • Press the Windows button on your keyboard or open with your mouse > type in Snipping Tool > You can then press NEW to create a new snip, which is a manual tool for taking screenshots.
    • In Windows 11 you can also use the Snipping tool to take screen recordings

Note: When taking screenshots on your PC, please ensure no personal or sensitive information is visible. Ensuring you are only taking a screenshot of Puzzle Quest 3 or your purchase receipts.


Xbox

In order to take a screenshot on your Xbox, double-tap the Xbox button on your controller, then press the Y button to save the screenshot.

Once you've saved a screenshot:

  1. Ensure your Xbox Live Profile is set to public and that the screenshot has finished uploading
  2. Open your support ticket and let us know your Gamer tag

 

On PlayStation

The easiest way to take and send us a screenshot of your PlayStation screen is to use your phone. If you have a smart phone please follow the steps for Android or iOS above.

You can also use your PC to send us a screenshot that you took using your PlayStation.

In order to take a screenshot on your PlayStation, press and hold the Share button on your controller for a second, then press the triangle button to save the screenshot.


To transfer the image to your PC:

  1. Insert a USB into your PlayStation
  2. Go to the PlayStation home screen
  3. Go to the Capture Gallery
  4. Find the screenshot and press the option button on your controller
  5. Select "Copy to USB Storage Device"
  6. Plug the USB into your PC
  7. Open your Support ticket with us and select "attach file"
  8. Select the screenshot.
