Limited Troops

In Gems of War, there are a variety of special troops that are only available outside of the standard Chests, or after a certain time frame.

Monthly Mythic
- In chests for 7 days upon release
  - Then they are added to the rotating Mythic pool for crafting, in the Soulforge
Campaign Mythic
- Rewarded by purchasing the Elite+ Pass in Campaigns, and collecting 1,000 Stars
  - Released into chests around 4 weeks after the Campaign ends
PvP Featured Immortal
- Releases when a new PvP season begins
- Immortal Souls are rewarded by purchasing the PvP Season Pass or can be found in Burning chests
  - Once the Season ends, the Immortal Souls are only available in Burning chests
New PvP Immortal
- Releases when a new PvP season begins
- Immortal Souls are added to Burning Chests
  - Once the Season ends, the Immortal Souls are only available in Burning chests
PvP Seasonal Mythic & Legendary
- Releases when a new PvP season begins
  - Appears in the PvP Shop
    - Once the Season ends, they will become available to craft in the Soulforge, as part of the rotating pool of craftable troops.
Tarot Troops
- Some are available as a reward during Campaigns
- Also some are available in the Kingdom Pass
  - Both go into the Vault at a later date, after the event ends
Hoard Mimic
- After encountering the Hoard Mimic in Explore battles, it has a chance to drop a copy of itself as a reward
Underspire Treasure Guardian aka Sentinels
- Chests that appear in dead ends after you defeat a Treasure Guardian in the Underspire, have a chance to reward these troops.
Previously Guild Wars Exclusive Troops
- Will be available in normal chests, making them no longer a limited or an exclusive troop.
Soulforge Exclusive Troops
- These troops are only available to craft in the Soulforge and are not available anywhere else.

  - Zuul'Goth
  - Dragonlord Luther
  - Dark Smith Drenza
  - Ctharrasque
  - Enraged Kurandara
  - Hatir Ascendant
  - Skroll Reborn
  - Leonis Tower
  - Diamantina
  - Stellarix
  - Chrysantherax
Gem/Cosmic/Flower Dragons
- Their Egg can only be crafted in the Soulforge, which has a random chance to drop of the matching Dragons
Gnomes
- Gnome-a-palooza Gnomes have a chance to drop as a reward in Vault battles against them
- All other gnomes have a chance to be rewarded from Vault battles only
Faction Troops
- Available from Chaos Portals by spending Chaos Shards
Seasonal Imps
- Only available during their corresponding season (Northern Hemisphere) in Chests
  - Imp of Love - February & March
  - Spring Imp - April & May
  - Summer Imp - June & July
  - Autumnal Imp - August & September
  - Spooky Imp - October & November
  - Winter Imp - December & January
Doom Troops
- Available during Tower of Doom event weeks, in the Event Shop
